About Toni Simms

Toni’s educational leadership consultancy aims to create a leadership learning culture through the development of sustainable leadership for executives and aspiring executives in schools. Toni’s commitment and enthusiasm to the development and professional learning of aspiring leaders was generated from her roles as a Deputy Principal and Primary Principal of three government primary schools in Western Sydney over 16 years. Other roles and responsibilities during this time included:

• The establishment of two middle management support groups in Western Sydney.

• The co-ordination of the professional learning of middle management as a District Primary Principals Council President (4 years) 

As a recipient of a joint award of a Leadership Fellowship (2005), Toni co- developed an aspiring leaders program.

Toni is a trained coach and facilitator who utilises a mentoring-coaching model to support the development of career path plans of aspiring executives and current executives.
